New Logo for Great North Sweep

Peter at Great North Sweep recently made an enquiry about a logo for his new business – I pointed him towards our Logo Design Package which for a fixed price £75 will get you a new logo. Peter attached a rough sketch of what he wanted the logo to look like with his enquiry, which always helps!

I thought it would be good to make a very clean, and simple logo – so people could see from a quick glance just what Peter does. Usually with the Logo Design Service, if a client doesn’t really have a firm idea of what they want their logo to look like, I often send over 4-6 different ideas. This wasn’t required in this case.

I settled on a bold, clear font pretty quickly. Below is my first draft I sent over for Peter to look over for approval.

I was really pleased with the look of it, so was Peter, he suggested moving the stove around and adding another sweep brush. He also mentioned it would be going onto a black van, so he wanted it in white, with some orange accents. After a little bit of switching around, and inverting the colours, I came up with this –

And that, was it – the logo was finished – and Peter was happy!
