New Website for Nick Bundy Electrical

Having worked with Nick Bundy previously by filming a series of vlogs, and creating video elements for his vlogs, he approached us to work on a new website for him. The original site was functional, and did the job – however it was dated and need of a refresh. While working on the site I wanted to keep the original ‘spirit’ of the existing one – make it functional , and simple to navigate – but using some of Nick’s new branding and design cues.

Despite being a YouTube star, Nick Bundy is firstly an electrician, so the site had to help potential customers find the services that Nick offers, and see some examples of previous work. As well as contact him to discuss future work.

Something I was keen to include was integration with Tradify – the job / business management software that Nick Bundy is an ambassador for. I linked up the site with Tradify’s ‘Request a Quote’ form that is powered within the Tradify back-end. When a user asks for a quote, the details are fed directly into Tradify, so Nick is able to see the request, and then provide a quote as soon as possible.

Nick has recently launched a range of tool bags that he’d designed with Velocity Pro Gear, so I thought it would be a good idea to show these off straight away on the home page, and direct people to purchase them.

I also added a ‘Testimonial‘ feature to the site that allows customers to leave reviews of Nick’s work, and when they’ve been verified, they will automatically show on the site.

I’ve also linked Nick’s YouTube feed to the site, so when he releases a new video onto his YouTube channel, it will appear on the carousel on the site. This allows customers to see videos of his most recent work, and also subscribe to the channel too, helping the channel grow!

The final site feels like it meets all of the requirements. Also, as our ‘Small Business Website Package‘ it is built with the drag and drop page builder the site can be refreshed easily and new content added with no headaches.
